¡Chichén Itzá Vendido! - Chichén Itzá Sold!

Después de un año de negociaciones el gobierno de Yucatán anunció la compra de 83 hectáreas de tierras privadas lugar donde se ubican monumentos históricos y arqueológicos, entre ellos Chichén Itzá lugar donde se encuentra la muy conocida pirámide de El Castillo, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad.

Jorge Esma Bazán (director del patronato Cultur) informó que el trato se cerró en $230 millones lo que llevo a la tramitación de un crédito bancario para pagar esa cantidad vendida por el propietario Hans Jurgen Thies Barbachano, heredero de esas tierras. La nueva deuda del gobierno se pagará a 15 años.

Mucha gente local se ha alegrado porque estas tierras han dejado de ser propiedad de particulares y ahora pertenecen al gobierno, pero el trasfondo va mucho más allá de eso.

El 10% de la economía en México depende de el turismo, cosa que no retribuye a las inversiones arqueológicas y antropológicas, ni mucho menos a la cultura de la gente local, lo peor de todo es que estas "nuevas adquisiciones" de lugares de culto y respeto histórico terminan siendo escenario no solo de artistas de alta categoría sino que terminan por ser "la tarima" de cualquier evento con tal de alimentar el beneficio del lucro, perdiendo el significado esencial y el honor de lugares que han dado un legado histórico ancestral.

¡Es inaudito el convertir zonas de culto histórico en Disneylandias o Six Flags! como se esta haciendo con el proyecto de Yaxcabá, cuando la educación esta por los suelos, la falta de apoyo a las investigaciones y excavaciones afectan el desarrollo del crecimiento interno, así como las carreras de arqueólogos y antropólogos cada vez pierden más terreno por la falta de demanda sobre todo en universidades particulares donde no se considera ni como opción remota el abrir dichas vías de estudio.

Con lo que a mi respecta no hay mucho que aplaudir, hay mucho por hacer, México pose una riqueza resplandeciente que no se ha sabido valorar y gente en el poder no han dejado que se valore, ya sea por mafias internas, negocios, monopolios o intereses de acuerdos internacionales, sea cual sea el caso, el difundir la cultura por medio de nuevas plazas en la educación dentro de universidades (privadas o no), el apoyo para el desarrollo e interés de nuevos profesionistas y la inversión económica para la investigación aplicada, serán puntos base para el crecimiento interno.

Para gente que quiera aportar su granito de arena, se les recomienda estudiar la cultura, estudiar una lengua local nativa, visitar, respetar y aprender de sitios arqueológicos y museos, sobretodo compartir y difundir estos conocimientos con sus seres más cercanos de una forma responsable, para que así tanto nosotros como nuevas generaciones de gente nativa o de ciudad despertemos y fomentemos la conciencia y legado de culturas ancestrales que aun respiran en su grandeza.

Jorge Esma Bazán (director of the Cultur patronage) reported that the deal closed in $230 million what carry to the processing of a banking credit to pay that quantity sold by the proprietary owner Hans Jurgen Thies Barbachano, heir of those lands. The new debt of the government will be paid in 15 years.

Many local people has been happy because these lands have left to be property of individuals and now they belong to the government, but the background goes a lot beyond that.

The 10% of the economy in México depends on the tourism, thing that does not pay the archaeological and anthropological investments, neither much less to the culture of the local people, the worse thing of all is that these "new acquisitions" of places of worship and historical heritage get transformed not just into a stage for artists of highly category but they become at the end "the platform" of any provided event to feed the benefit of lucre, losing the essential meaning and the honor of places that have given an ancient historical legacy.

It is unheard-of to convert zones of historic worship in Disneylands or Six Flags! as it is happening with the project of Yaxcabá, when there are basic education scholar problems, the deficiency of support to the investigations and excavations affect the development of the internal growth, as well as the careers of archaeologists and anthropologists each time lose more terrain by the lack of demand of education in private universities where is not considered neither like remote option to open those study opportunities.

In my concerns there is not a lot to applaud, there is a lot to do, México possess a shining wealth that has not been valued and people in power have not left any posibility about that, whether for internal mafias, business, monopolies or in agreement with international interests, whichever it is the case, to diffuse the culture by new oportunities in education inside universities (private or not), the support for the development and interest of new professionals and the economical investment for applied investigations , will be basis points for the internal growth.

For people that want to contribute his granite of sand, is recommended to study a culture, a local native language, to visit, respect and learn in archaeological places and museums, above all to share and to diffuse these know-how with close people in a responsible way, so that we thus new generations of native people or from big cities awake and promote the conscience and the legacy of ancient cultures that still breathe in their greatness.
