Este hallazgo de la tumba Zoque de un estimado de 2700 años de antigüedad es otro descubrimiento de importancia que ayudará a esclarecer la historia y origen de la cultura Maya.

El descubrimiento pertenece al proyecto arqueológico Chiapa de Corzo, en el que participan especialistas de la Fundación Arqueológica del Nuevo Mundo, que pertenece a la Universidad Brigham Young de Utah (BYU), del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH), y del Centro de Estudios Mayas del IIFl de la UNAM.

This find of a Zoque tomb of an estimated of 2700 years of antiquity is another discovery of importance that will help to clarify the history and origin of the Mayan culture.

The discovery belongs to the archaeological project Chiapa de Corzo, in which participate specialists of the Archaeological Foundation of the New World, that belongs to the Brigham Young University of Utah (BYU), of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), and of the Center of Mayan Studies of the IIFl of the UNAM.
