9th Annual Tulane Maya Symposium: In the Time of the Maya

The Middle American Research Institute and the Stone Center for Latin American Studies are proud to present the Ninth Annual Tulane Maya Symposium and Workshop. This year’s symposium titled “In The Time of the Maya” will focus, in 400 year intervals, on the entire known history of the Maya civilization from mythological time to today. The symposium presenters will count the baktuns from creation to the present in order to recount the full history and contemplate the future of the Maya civilization.
